Winter Powerhouse 2010

What a winter we have been having! I have not seen anything like this since '96. It has been a lot of fun for Abigail. She is at a great age to remember snow and be able to play in it. The amount we got today did pose a problem because it was as deep as her in some parts where the snow had drifted high. The snow started yesterday in the afternoon and stopped today at 12:30ish. It was probably about 22 hours of straight snow. I really can't tell exactly how much we got because of the snow drifts. I think it was between 18-22 inches. Our very nice neighbor across the street told us he would be happy to snowblow our driveway when he does his. Once the snow stopped he came out around lunch time. It was perfect timing because we planned on taking Abigail out between 1-2:30pm. He was able to blow half of our driveway before his snowblower stopped working:( Nick and I had to shovel the rest. Another neighbor did come over and help us too. I'm not sure if the postman will be able to reach our mailbox. I'm hoping the township plows our street again soon! Below I have added some fun pics from today.

Nick buried Abigail in the snow.

Abigail decided to eat some of the snow.

Can you find Nick's car??

Here is a picture of how high the snow was on the sides of our driveway.

Abigail was having fun digging in the snow since she was not able to walk on it.

This is what it looked like when we opened our garage!
