September Birthdays

September is the big birthday month in the Carter household. Nick and I just keep getting older. Funny how that works! Abigail loves cake so she in turn loves birthdays! For my birthday I requested a chocolate layered cake with buttercream frosting. This is also Abigail's favorite:)

For Nick's birthday he wanted his traditional DQ ice cream cake. I did not preorder one because I figured I could go in and pick it up the day before his birthday. Wrong! They had lots of birthday cakes but all had girl colors on them. I decided that the blue/white football cake would be more fitting:-P Abigail picked it over the Phillies cake too.
