We are only two months away from Abigail's 2nd Birthday! She is very much a little girl now and not a baby. We are amazed daily with how quickly she learns and picks up on things we do and say. On September 3rd we went to a place called Lake Tobias to celebrate my birthday. It was a nice family day together. We really did not get an opportunity to do much traveling this summer because of our businesses. I have been wanting to check out this zoo/safari in the middle of PA! The weather was gorgeous for a week straight and we thought it would be a perfect time to go. The sky was blue and the temperature was in the upper 70s. We had a blast! Here are a sampling of all the pictures I took. We also got some fun video too. If I get a chance I will post some of that in another journal entry.
The first set of pictures are from our Safari Tour. They took a school bus, cut off the top, painted it in rainforest colors, and drove us around:)
Feeding the Emus!
Look at that sky!
Some deer, bulls, and bison.
A big bison!
This deer has a 13 point rack!
(The man standing in the picture was our tour guide)
The next set of pictures were taken of some animals in the park.

This bear was enjoying watching the people.

There were two tigers and two lions at the park.
Abigail loved seeing the animals through the glass.
Here we are looking at the turtles.
Then we went to the petting zoo.
Abigail was a little unsure about petting some of the animals.

I had not seen a camel in awhile.
Abigail is checking out the chickens.

Abigail started to get very tired since it was getting closer to her nap time.

Before we left Abigail had to go on the swing. It is her favorite thing:)
