Family Trip to Baltimore's Inner Harbor

Abigail turned 2 1/2 years old this past weekend. She continues to grow and learn new things. She loves to be outside, play with her friends, watch "Little Bear" on Nick Jr. and roll marbles down the stairs. She is such a happy girl and really keeps us on our toes. Abigail loves to cuddle and give hugs.

On Saturday we took a family trip to Baltimore's Inner Harbor. We met up with some friends from TN who moved to Washington D.C. last year. Baltimore is right in the middle and an hour away for each of us. We had lunch at a restaurant in the harbor and then took a Water Taxi to Fort McHenry. Fort McHenry is where we defended Baltimore Harbor from the British Navy in the War of 1812. The flag flying over the Fort inspired the Star Spangled Banner to be written. On our way back we all enjoyed some ice cream! The weather was perfect and Abigail LOVED everything we did. It was nice to spend time with friends and see new things. Even though I have been to the Inner Harbor at least 8 times, there are still many things I have not seen. We look forward to going back and taking Abigail to the aquarium and science museum.

Here we are with Amy, Dave and Jack.

The kids had fun playing and picking Dandelions.

Abigail was very excited about the large cannonball!

Our little girl!
