Before Our Trip

Before I tell you about our trip to Florida and Abigail's 17 month b-day, I wanted to share some other photos from March. Abigail loves shoes! I think I have mentioned that before but if not then now you know:) She calls her shoes "boots!" When she began to talk she started off saying "B" words, so I think boot was easier than shoe. Abigail also loves walking in our shoes. Here is a picture of her walking around in my Mary Kay black heels. It is just too funny!

Two days before we left for our trip Abigail got her worst "boo-boo" yet! (These things always happen before pictures or trips!) I was standing at her changing table and she came running into the room, tripped over my foot, and smashed her forehead into the wood dresser. I saw it all happen in slow motion. Of course there was silence for a few seconds and then crying. She actually didn't cry as hard as I would have expected. She immediately had a mark on her head. Nick and I put ice on it right away even though she hated it. I really think it helped! I took this picture about an hour after it happened.
