First Easter Egg Hunt

The day before Easter my home church in West Chester had an Easter Egg Hunt at Everhart Park. Abigail was too young to go last year so we were not going to miss it this year. She had a great time despite the weather. It had rained all day and finally stopped an hour before the hunt. It was very cold and muddy at the park !! We saw lots of friends so that helped to brighten the event. There were 7,200 eggs spread all over the park. I have never seen so many eggs disappear that quickly! It was over in 8 minutes. Abigail had practiced looking for eggs at our house and loved it. I figured she would do great for the real thing. She ended up being more interested in the playground equipment; however, she did pick up a bunch of eggs before they were all gone. They tried to keep the older kids in one area but they ended up finding their way over to the 3 and under area. Oh well! We still had a lot of fun and they handed out pretzels and maracas afterward. I'm stilling enjoying all the chocolate candy Abigail found...hehe.

I'm practicing for the real deal!

Umm...I need help finding these eggs!

This looks like fun...

Where is the candy?

1...2...3 eggs

Oooo...I found a special one.

This is hard work but lots of fun!
